I studied for a degree in Textile Design at Winchester School of Art winning a number of awards including two of the prestigious RSA Design Awards in my final year, including the British Airways Travel Award which allowed me to spend a month in China studying the silk industry and printed textiles.
After graduation, I moved to Lake Como in Italy and worked for Interseta Mantero and Ratti SpA – two of the world’s premier silk design studios – where I designed fabrics for, amongst others, Salvatore Ferragamo, Christian Dior, Valentino and Gucci.
Now based in London, I work in a number of different styles and media including gouache, acrylic, oils and coloured pencil. I particularly enjoy working on a miniature scale and photo-realism.
